  There are several, but most of them also make you groggy and slow, with your eyes glazed over and half way closed. Not the kind of impression you want to make to your audience. There is one drug that is very popular among public speakers called propranolol. It is actually a blood pressure medicine but it helps with the physical symptoms like racing heartbeat, sweating, shakey hands, and things like that. You have to get it from a doctor though.

  Ativan is good for short term use….I’m on Effexor for long-term social phobia and it works wonders for me. Talk to your doctor about this.
