the ONLY effective part of the speech was your pause after “validation, rather than education…” but even the delivery of that line was rather dry. i’ve heard better speeches given from my highschool french class.

2. I have a bronze medal in NSW Toastmasters – I use a coach & coach others
4. Of course the points are subjective – that’s why we listen to individuals

@WALSTEADH0USE you responded twice…losing your emotions already? I cant prove anything to you because you would probably just turn your head away when the glory is revealed. The 4 things are subjective according to the speaker. Almost every public teacher in self help education condemns a listener to the need of a coach. Overt and tactless…but normal, and ordinary. BTW soon to pretend you dont know me, do you have a speech you have done?

#1 coached???? BS…the #1 point is the really want it #2 they are will to act, to speak, to swing, to attack, to persever…#3 they keep improving by looking at there up and downs and they learn from both…#4 they may get a great coach….

This presenter early on states, “it used to be 9….now it is 10″ drop boring details. My point is content is more important than presentation. People, take acting lessons. You can not make boring persons or boring content engaging.

I believe at the end of the video he was going to say “the pause.” Pausing helps listeners digest the information you just told them and can help bring their attention back up to you.

Darren LaCroix has one thing right – to get as good as he is at anything, you have to spend a LOT of time on it! Imagine all those hours of watching winners videos over and over again!
