Best answer:

Answer by buick
Memorize the text, so that when you’re reading it on stage, the text will be entirely familiar and you wont be as nervous. It’s the nerves that are causing you to stutter. Just know your text well. Your brain will know what comes next as you read it in front of the audience and you wont stumble.

of phoenix and one of his best performances. Victor has shared has shared the stage with many business leaders and motivational speakers including: Zig Ziglar, Rudy Giuliani, Robert Schuller, Paul Otellini (CEO, Intel) , John May (CEO, FedEx Kinkos) and other. First Story: In this speech motivational speaker Victor discuss the logic of success; why some people fail and other succeed. His Joel Osteen story is classic in which he compares the differing style of John Hague and Noel Jones. The story he tells is about an optimistic farmer and a pessimistic farmer. Second Story: Public speaker Victor goes on to talk about dream killers and stupid people people. He jokes about having a great idea like Jerry Maguire who writes a success manifesto. He walks you through how dream killers, naysayers will talk you out of pursuing your passion. Third Story: In the last story, motivational speaker Victor talks about developing your own delete button to stop people from brining you down. He ends with his signature pledge called the “Success Pledge” which is all about doing your Thang (not Thing). Victor Note: One of my favorite speeches? Al Pacino on Any Given Sunday. Question by nawaz: What are the best techniques to deliver a Lecture or Presentation?

Best answer:

Answer by seventyhemichallenger
Mostly, the best technique is dependent upon the audience, and how they learn; some people learn by rote, some by hands on, some people need to have background noise, some need quiet.
You need to identify your group and then research their particular learning style.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP I WILL RATE MY BEST!!!!!?

Learn Effective Presentation

Question by Tyler: PLEASE PLEASE HELP I WILL RATE MY BEST!!!!!?
WHEN DONE PLEASE PLEASE EMAIL THE POWERPOINT TO: taokland96@yahoo.com

Football announcer John Madden is famous for his use of a telestrator, a technology that allows the user to draw by hand on a televised broadcast. Madden draws simple diagrams that illustrate force, gravity, and projectile motion. “Wham!”

Instead of a telestrator, you use a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation to illustrate the role of physics in a sport such as football, basketball, soccer, golf, or another sport you are familiar with.

map 1

Creating an effective Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation is an important skill to practice, as you may need it in your career. For this assignment, create a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation, using pictures and words that present information about forces behind a sport of your choice.

Directions: Create a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation that includes information on the following items:

•A general description of the sport in paragraph form
•A slide that identifies forces acting on falling objects in your sport
•An explanation of three physics concepts found in the sport: Where are they found? How are they relevant? Physics concepts must include force, gravity, and projectile motion. Include at least one slide for each concept.
•A conclusion slide in paragraph form that may include what you learned about your sport or fun facts you may have come across

Each bullet point must be covered on one slide. The only exception is the third bullet point, which must be covered in three slides.

Guidelines: The presentation must include the following elements:

•A title slide
•6 to 8 additional slides
•At least three pictures or graphics
•Enough text to address required elements
•A reference page, which must be the last page, containing citations in MLA format for information, pictures, and graphics you use; for example, if you use a picture from the Internet, include the name of the Web site where the picture came from and the link

Just to make sure I have this clear, before I do anything to “help” you…

You want a PowerPoint presentation, with the bullet points you gave us?
You want the presentation to have at least 7, including the title, slides?
At least 3 illustrations?
Text to go with the slides?
A page similar to a bibliography, in MLA?
You then want us to email it to you?

That’s it? Do I have it right?
Just spend the next few days doing research, making this presentation, then emailing it to you?
You know, PowerPoint is a lot of fun to use. Try it!

Public speaking courses-The best, for a beginner?

Question by karnautrahl: Public speaking courses-The best, for a beginner?
I’ve never done public speaking, I wish to acquire the skill, yet the notion scares me. I’ve decided thats one damned good reason to do it. There are books aplenty, however, it’s practical experience and training I need to get on this horse and ride it.

Its not for any specific job as such, though I’d like to be able to enjoy and be good at it for future career possibilities.

So my question is, based in the UK, can anyone recommend excellent training for a beginner?

I’m looking at Skillstudio and Impact Factory at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any assistance rendered :-).
**Thank you for the Toastmasters suggestion. Am investigating now.

Along with that excellent suggestion, are there any courses that folks have had experience with and recommend?
