Answer by Nicholas Start speaking in public. Do a poetry reading or something. It might help to know that 95% of people are just as insecure, just as inept, and just as goofy as you feel you are and almost none of them ever know what they’re talking about.
So f*ck ‘em; just do your thing and feel the swagger after.

Answer by I ? Richard KHC Good luck on this, I have been shy my entire life and nothing has changed, I had to take a speech class in college and it was my most dreaded class, I would make myself sick I was so worried about speaking in front of people. One thing that did help me a little after I got out of college was my supervisor at my job. she knew I was very shy and I had a job that dealt with alot of people. It was a concert venue and I worked in the VIP area. So she would tell me to say this to the next person who walked up next. It was always something simple like the weather is beautiful today isn’t it. And eventually i started to get a little less shy about talking to people. i don’t know if that would help you. Doing presentations with a partner always eased me a little because at least it was not all on you.
The need to speak in public is usually done for getting certain tasks accomplished and is not motivated for finding future leaders or heads. But through public speaking an attempt is made to generate information and share useful details with members of the same association. The people who want to be leaders or achieve anything meaningful their lives would often need to speak to groups, which can be large and small, for getting success in their lives. It has been seen that most people believe that public speaking is immensely stressful. But this is not true and you should try and deal with any type of stress effectively. For this, you should understand that life itself, including public speaking, is certainly not stressful or filled with anxiety. Hence if a millions of human beings have learned to speak in front of groups, without anxiety and stress and then so can you. There is no doubt that initially all people suffer with little anxiety or stress. But there are many people who are able to do this without any anxiety or stress. It has been seen that when people spoke in front of the public for the first time, then their hands would shake and their voices would tremble. Most people also experienced their thoughts getting jumbled and yet they have been able to get over this problem.”diagnosis: a preface to an autopsy” “To confess ignorance is often wiser than to beat about the bush with a hypothetical diagnosis.” “Being a reporter is as much a diagnosis as a job description” Hence you cannot get success with public speaking unless you are making efforts to do the same and try to conquer your fear. For becoming good at this you need the right guiding principles, the right understanding, and a good plan. You can speak well in public and for this you should start with practicing the same in front of your peers or friends. This would help in reducing these fears for the first time and then you can perform slightly better when you deliver the speech. Also another vital factor here is that you should have confidence of being good.
You should be assured about speaking something which will help others and would keep their attention. This helps in getting a certain level of confidence in your approach. Try and crack some jokes to ease your self and also help the others enjoy. Remember that the audience is there because they believe that you would be giving them some knowledge or information. Hence you should be focused on giving them valuable information and this would help to take the attention away from the fact that you are nervous or are trying to overcome your fears.
